Hello, my name is Veronika and I am a photographer based in beautiful Scottish capital, Edinburgh. I have fallen in love with photography many many years ago, as my dad always taught me how important it is to capture the beautiful moments in life. With my family we like to sit together and look through tons of photo albums. They make us smile at our funny hairstyles, laugh at dads cowboy boots that used to be super fashionable and remember and re-live moments that would otherwise be long forgotten.

I was lucky to grow up in a beautiful mountain village in Slovakia surrounded by wonderful nature, fresh air and occasionally brown bears.

I moved to Scotland in 2010 for my University studies. After gaining an Honours degree I was left absolutely clueless about what to do next with my life… ( I guess I was not the only one:) . After a while and number of Tony Robbins motivational videos I have decided to try and start from scratch something completely different…but this time something that I loved and felt I could be good at - PHOTOGRAPHY.

I love photographing pretty much everything.. you name it… from families and newborns, through landscapes all the way to taking photographs of custom-made cars and fast motorbikes. It runs in my veins and makes the endorphins flow! :)

I offer photo sessions at home or at one of the beautiful locations in Edinburgh, but really I don’t mind travelling anywhere. If you want to take me to photograph your family holidays in Bahamas, I am totally up for it :)

I could probably bore you with another few paragraphs about my love for photography, but I won’t :)

Instead I would like to tell you a bit more about who I really am once I switch off the camera.

So yeah, this is me…

Every day and night I spent by my computer, editing photographs , creating albums and going through captures from the sessions brings me big joy. I imagine how a little album will bring families together on a cold winter evening to look through its pages and remember how lucky you are to have each other.

Maybe in the future you will laugh at your hair, maybe at your outfit, but you will always cherish those moments and smiles together.
